Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for "Captain America: New World Order," the fourth installment in the Captain America film franchise.
Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who officially took up the mantle of Captain America at the end of the Disney+ series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."
The trailer offers a glimpse of Sam adjusting to his new role, facing new challenges, and teaming up with allies such as Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez).
The film also features the return of Harrison Ford as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who was last seen in "Captain America: Civil War." Giancarlo Esposito ("Better Call Saul") and Rosa Salazar ("Alita: Battle Angel") join the cast in unspecified roles.
"Captain America: New World Order" is scheduled to be released in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
