Davante Adams' Jersey to Be Retired by Fresno State

Former Bulldogs Star to Be Honored

Nine years after playing his last game for Fresno State, wide receiver Davante Adams will have his jersey retired by the university.

Adams, a two-time collegiate All-American and five-time NFL Pro Bowler, played for Fresno State from 2011 to 2013. During his time with the Bulldogs, he set several school records, including most career receiving yards (3,031) and most career touchdown catches (38).

Adams was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has since become one of the league's top receivers, earning Pro Bowl honors in each of the past five seasons.

Adams' jersey retirement ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 10, when Fresno State hosts San Jose State.

The ceremony will be a special moment for Adams, who has said that Fresno State will always hold a special place in his heart. "I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have played at Fresno State," Adams said. "It's a special place, and I'm honored to have my jersey retired."

Adams' jersey retirement is a testament to his legacy as one of the greatest players in Fresno State history. He is a role model for young athletes and a source of pride for the entire Fresno State community.
