The Chicago Sky defeated the Indiana Fever 82-79 in Game 1 of the first round of the WNBA playoffs on Thursday night. Candace Parker led the Sky with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Sky took control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Fever 47-36. Allie Quigley scored 15 points for the Sky, while Kahleah Copper added 14 points and Courtney Vandersloot had 13 points and 9 assists.

The Fever were led by Victoria Vivians, who scored 20 points. Kelsey Mitchell added 18 points and Aaliyah Boston had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The Sky will host the Fever in Game 2 on Saturday night.
